My kids are 5 & 3 1/2 and are pretty much over Cheerios these days. A few days a month they eat a light breakfast in the car so I researched (heavily!) a snack that was both very healthy (really healthy, not vitamins and minerals in Lucky Charms healthy) and special/unique and delicious. This fits the bill. Elmo makes all kiddos happy, of course, and this tastes/smells like a blueberry muffin. They aren't sticky or messy and they're really a tasty snack anytime. My husband and I have been known to share a few!

I bought this from Whole Foods, also as an alternative to Cheerios. My son (13 1/2 months) loved them! The flavor and texture reminded us somewhat of a Kashi cereal. We even mixed a small portion with milk [and a liquid could help with younger babies to soften the pieces].

i try to find healthy orhanic snack for my kids. especially my 1 1/2 yr old. while browsing the organic section at amazon, i came across these. my kids love these! the price is great, i signed up for auto delivery. it is cheeper and you can cancel when ever you want. i get the strawberry fruit bars as well. we dont have a great selection of earths best anywhere around, its cheeper on amazon. you have to buy in bulk, but its worth it. theses taste great, are healthy and organic!!

My favorite brand of baby food by far. Both my son (who is now over 2 years old) and my daughter (now almost one) have used a wide variety of foods from Earth's Best. I am a huge proponent of feeding children primarily organic and/or locally grown foods to promote proper nutrition and growth. But I do not feel that all organic brands are equal. I've tried many varieties (including store brands and others only available through internet purchase) and found that Earth's Best is by far the best for your money.



Fruit & Whole Grain Combo, Peach - Oatmeal - Banana

This variety was a huge hit with my son and was given to him most every day until about a year and a half. My daughter on the other hand hasn't taken to it. All children are not created equally and each has their likes and dislikes. I'm still hopeful that she'll take to this, but for now it's a no go. That's why I'm giving it four stars as opposed to five. Although, I would say this flavor is definitely worth a try for any child who has moved passed the basic stage one foods.

Carrots were the only veggie I didn't home-make for my baby (doctor's recommendation due to nitrate levels). These are the yummiest ones we tried, and the consistency is very nice -- still very easy to eat, but not as watery as others. Definitely not over-strained, also. They are like what I would've made.



Have been pleased with all of the Earth's Best products we've used (cereals, snacks, & jar dinners).

I subscribe to this 4 oz. carrot 12-pack.



Both our twin babies love this one with carrots as we discovered with the vegetable variety pack. Other parents have told me their babies like carrots so this one is likely to be a winner.



I've tried many Earth's Best baby food in the jars products on my babies. They like all of them with only a couple exceptions. I've discovered they're not fond of peas or onions, but I've also discovered that as they get older they will eat more types of foods. If you get something your baby doesn't like, maybe you can keep it on hand for when your baby is a few months older and try again.



Several other varieties of Earth's Best contain carrots as one of the major ingredients even if they go by other names. I think this is to make them sweet so babies will like them more.



The ingredients are simply organic carrots and water. One 4-ounce jar (not this 2.5 ounce jar) has 40 calories, and daily value: 4% protein, 150% vitamin A and 4% calcium (that's all of it; no iron for example).



Compared to other Earth Best varieties, this has very little calories but is very high in vitamin A. I'm informed that the daily intake percentage is based on an adult.

Our 7 month old boy really likes these carrots, but even with the subscribe and save option from Amazon (which is usually a good deal), these just break even with what the supermarket charges. Not sure that I want a whole flat then for the price. May still be a good option for flavors that are not really available in every store (like carrots are).

My son started eating this when he was around 8 months old; he's now 14 months old and it's one of his favorites. Unfortunately, they don't carry it at the local grocery store (they carry other varieties of Earth's Best; just not this one or his other favorites, Spinach/Potatoes and Spaghetti with Cheese); they do carry it at some of the Whole Foods so I buy them there. I'm so glad to find them on Amazon! I get TIRED of ringing up a gazillion little jars at the store.



We use this as a base and mix in other things - bits of cooked broccoli, small pieces of meat. I've also started adding spices to introduce him to new flavors.

Both our twins love this one right from the start but it's not loaded with lentils (see ingredients below). We introduced it when they were 7 months old and now they're 10 months. I'm glad they are eating something green because we couldn't get them to eat the one with peas when we tried at 7 months, but we got them to eat the peas later at 9 months.



Their favorite vegetable is sweet potato and we've also tried sweet potato with cinnamon. They love all the fruit varieties.



I'm glad they love this one because lentils and brown rice form a complete protein, although a view of the ingredients shows that lentils is not one of the prime ingredients.



This one also has carrots and I've heard all babies like carrots. I don't know if they would like it without the carrots. I haven't seen this one - lentils and brown rice - in our local stores, so I'm glad to get it here. Along with some others, we get this one with the subscription. Of course, with twins one is forced to buy more in bulk and we're so busy that it's great to get these delivered.



The packaging is excellent. I've ordered an unbelievable number of cases of jars of different types and only had one jar arrive broken.



Ingredients per label: Water, organic apples, organic carrots, organic brown rice, organic lentils, organic canola oil.



This has 70 calories, 10% protein, 100% vitamin A, 4% vitamin C, 2% calcium and 4% iron.

I liked getting this one for my twin 10-month olds because it has such interesting ingredients, particularly the zucchini and the garbanzo beans.
